THIS COMPETITION IS NO LONGER RUNNING

Strand Shopping Centre have teamed up with local schools in Bootle to give one lucky child the chance to design a bag for life for the centre. Children were asked to design a bag reflecting what the Strand means to them.

We had over 100 competition entries and the winning design was designed by Tom Mooney, aged 11 from Christ Church Primary School. The bag is currently in production and we look forward to it being available at the centre. 

Strand Shopping Centre staff had a fantastic time at the Ykids Believe Awards last night.

Congratulations to all the runner ups and winners. The children are truly inspiring and a credit to Bootle!

We would just like to say how proud we are too of been Short-listed at the BCSC Purple Apples for our Community Relations work with YKids. 

Although we did not win, a great night was had and we hope to Win next year!

The Rewards Club at Hairlucinations

The Rewards Club is a new and exclusive program designed to reward you for choosing to visit us on a regular basis. As a member of the Rewards Club you will earn 10 points for every £100 spent on hairdressing services. When you have accumulated enough points, you can use these points to pay for services. Eventually, you will enjoy the confidence in knowing that 10% of each service pound you spend with us can be used to pay for future services.

Our Computer System will keep track of all the points you’ve earned. You will see a balance of all your points on the bottom of your receipt along with your next appointment after each visit. Membership is £5 per year and you can download the Rewards Club registration form and bring with you to the shop, click here to download.

Terms and Conditions

1. Membership to the Rewards Club is £5

2. 10 Points are earned for every £100 spent on hairdressing services

3. Points are equivalent to pounds value ( i,e, 30 points =£30 )

4. Accumulation of points applies only to actual money spent on hairdressing services (after any discount or other promotions) and exclude expenditure on purchase of retail products

5. Points can only be redeemed when you have the full amount of points to cover the total price for a particular service (i,e, points cannot be used to partially pay for a particular service)

6. Accumulated points can only be used to redeem hairdressing services (not retail products or sundry items)

7. Membership and points accumulated are not transferable

8. Points not redeemed will expire after 18 months. Points are not redeemable for cash

H&T Pawnbrokers are Top Store in the Country!

The H&T Pawnbrokers store in Strand Shopping Centre has won ‘H&T Pawnbroker Top Store 2012’ throughout the country and has won a trip to Dubai.   

The Bootle based pawnbroker’s have previously received ‘Top Team in the region’ for receiving best sales, good customer service and recognised for their community and charity events that they regularly hold.  The team then battled it out with other regions in their national final on Wednesday 20th March by presenting a pitch of why they should win to the judges.

The excited group was so shocked when finding out they had won, and look forward to their trip on Thursday 27th June 2013.
